Originally from Newfoundland. I moved to Nova Scotia 7 Years ago and am now as deeply rooted as most Haligonians. (Thus the name Newfi-gonian)
I absolutely love working with clients and love helping them find homes.
I am experienced in new construction, resale, residential, and multi-family and am available and qualified to answer any questions you might have.
I believe in honest, hard work and providing excellent results.
My diverse educational backgound is an asset that helps to get the result you want while having a stress free experience: This is where it began and what I have accomplished:
I grew up on the west coast of rural Newfoundland in a family of eleven. At age 18 I enrolled in the Bachelor of Education Program at Memorial University and studied to be a teacher. ThenI completed a Criminology certificate and my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/phychology. I movedto Nova Scotia on a promotion with Canada Post, then took a three year hiatus to go back to university. ( I retired from CPC after 20 years of service) I have taken courses in Public relations at Mount Saint VincentUniversity and completed an advanced diploma in Human Resources Management at the Nova Scotia Community College.
While working at Canada Post I raised my two daughters, Ophelia who is now a successful Environmental Scientist (in Winnipeg) and Rebecca a successful Massage Therapist (at 3 locations with Classic Physiotherapy in Halifax).
My children are grown, I have the most amazing husband, Russ, whom I love dearly and now I have the time, knowledge, conviction, and enthusiasm to ensure you have a successful and happy realestate experience. PS , Russ opened his new Law firm (Parkland Law) in June of 2006. He has three other Lawyers working with him.
We are both really excited about this new adventure and look forward to being of service to our many wonderful clients!!
